  • The swept wing design and twin 81-pound thrust engines provide a 470-knot maximum speed allowing the customer to test multiple platforms. This performance capability was previously available only in larger, more expensive aerial target platforms.
  • Twin C-81 turbojet engines generate 1 kw of available power.
  • Advanced use of carbon fiber composites in the airframe virtually eliminates corrosion, ensures watertight bonds (reducing maintenance after water recoveries) and provides superior strength and durability.
  • The advanced avionics suite utilized on Firejet is based upon the BQM-167 family of targets. This commonality provides Firejet the capability of advanced maneuvers in a small, flexible and affordable aerial target system.
  • Watertight E-bay provides a single location for all target avionics reducing maintenance service time to access LRU’s for remove-and-replace activities
